Ukrainian authorities on Saturday denounced a Russian bombing in the center of the capital Kyiv without any deaths or injuries so far.
The attack, reported the city’s mayor Vitali Klitschko, took place near Dniprovskyi (or Dnipro)on the left bank of the river that divides the capital in two halves.
“Explosions in the Dnipro district. All services are directed on the spot.Stay in the shelters!”, Klitschko said in his Telegram account.
The deputy adviser to the Ukrainian presidency, Kirilo Timoshenko, has specified that the attack is aimed at “critical infrastructure facilitiesaround 9:30 am (8:30 am in the Basque Country).
Shortly after the report, the authorities issued an air raid alert for the capital and the region of the same name.
