When a 35 and 23-year-old Carinthian was found during a driver check in early January despite a gun ban, officials made another discovery during a house search.
A court-approved search was reportedly carried out in the apartment of the 23-year-old from Völkermarkter on Wednesday, in which the second suspect, the 35-year-old, was also found shelter.
Drug paraphernalia, a few grams of magic mushrooms, cocaine and heroin, but also ecstasy and benzos were seized during the house search. Furthermore, various weapons, knives, softguns and paintball markers of different variations were seized.
Because there is an official ban on weapons against both men, a report has been filed with the public prosecutor of Klagenfurt in connection with weapons and the possession of narcotics. At the request of the public prosecutor, the 35-year-old was taken to Klagenfurt prison. The 23-year-old was released on bail.
The investigations by the narcotics research group of the Völkermarkt police command are still ongoing.
