A major search for a 78-year-old nursing home resident in the area of Villach lasted until the early hours. The worst was feared because of the sub-zero temperatures. Fortunately, the woman was found Friday morning with severe hypothermia.
“The woman was last seen at 11 p.m. on Thursday at the Maria Gail care home and then disappeared during the patrol at midnight,” reports Dieter Berger of the Carinthia rescue dog brigade, who arrived shortly after midnight with ten people and six searchers. dogs were involved in the major search.
