Two injured – driving error led to head-on collision

What went wrong? In Steyregg in Upper Austria there was a head-on collision on a turning lane of the B3. The record: two, some seriously injured.

The 33-year-old driver from Luftenberg drove in the evening from Linz towards Luftenberg and had queued to the left in Steyregg at the Pulgan intersection on the exit lane, or had braked her car there to let oncoming traffic through.

Reason still unclear
A 56-year-old from Linz who was coming towards her ended up with his car in the left lane of the oncoming lane for unknown reasons, causing the two vehicles to collide head-on. Both occupants were injured and taken to hospital.
