A terrible accident took place in Lower Austria on Friday evening. A 75-year-old was killed.
The pensioner was walking in the vicinity of Felixdorf (Wiener Neustadt-Land district) shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Friday and was hit by a car, thrown to the ground and killed.

The man probably crossed the road on the main road just before the approaching car of a 35-year-old driver, the police reported on Sunday. Despite a 40-minute CPR attempt, the 75-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. For him, all help came too late.

Citizens photographed and filmed the dramatic situation. The Felixdorf fire brigade vented its anger: “This behavior is not only antisocial, but also punishable. Taking photos or videos of the injured, dead or even emergency services can also be an infringement of private law.” Such photos and videos that are published on social media or passed on to the media are punishable.
