They had no weapons with them, but their looks and the four-legged companion were reason enough for a 19-year-old to be so scared that she came to Pasching in Upper Austria and looted her bank account. Now the police are looking for the two robbers.
The two men matched the 19-year-old from Molln, who had come to Pasching to meet an acquaintance. She was probably a random victim when the perpetrators asked her around 4 p.m. on Tuesday to join them in the Langholzfeld area. “Otherwise something will happen,” the robbers said in German with a foreign accent.
Out of fear, she came along and had to open her backpack in a meadow near Prinz-Eugen-Strasse 75a, to be exact. The men saw the debit card and asked the woman to go to the nearest bank. There she had to withdraw the limit – 400 euros – and give the money to the robbers. The perpetrators then escorted the victim back a bit until he was finally allowed to leave on his own.
This is what the thieves look like
Immediately after the robbery, the woman drove to the police station at the main train station in Linz and filed a report there. She describes the perpetrators as follows:
A robber is a man, about 25 years old and about 180 centimeters tall. He wore a black beard on his upper and lower lips and had short dark hair.
The second was also male, about 18 years old, about 170 centimeters tall and had a young fighting dog with a light coat color. The two spoke in a foreign language with which the victim could not identify with any nation. A direct search has turned up nothing so far. The Pasching Police Inspectorate asks for relevant information on 059133 4141.
