An unknown person has broken into a house in Deutschkreutz in Burgenland. But he hadn’t expected the owner’s reaction. The investigation is ongoing.
A sneaky thief in Deutschkreutz probably imagined this coup a little easier: While the owner was in the garden with her dog, he broke into the house and searched the rooms for valuables. When he wanted to flee with the loot, the 73-year-old suddenly appeared in front of him.
Manhunt without result
However, she was not afraid of the intruder and yelled at the stranger that she would call the police. The surprised man then pushed her aside and quickly ran to his car. He was in such a hurry that he lost some of the stolen jewels on the way. An immediate search by the police turned up nothing.
According to the woman’s description, it was a 30 to 40-year-old man, rather short and somewhat stocky in stature. He has dark hair and a beard about an inch long. The getaway vehicle was a dark-colored car with foreign license plates.
