Brutal scenes took place in front of a Viennese school on Tuesday afternoon. Two boys – aged 14 and 16 – intercepted a classmate in front of the building and demanded money from him. One of the two even grabbed the 15-year-old victim by the neck and threatened him. But that shouldn’t be all…
The violent clash took place around 2:15 p.m. in Brigittenau. A passerby saw the scene and rushed to help the 15-year-old, whereupon the teens (according to police, a Syrian and a stateless person) released their victim and ran away.

But shortly after, a message should arrive on the victim’s mobile phone. Another boy, a 15-year-old Austrian, again rudely threatened the student if he decided to go to the police and report the incident.
However, the boy was not intimidated and filed a report. The 14-year-old and the 16-year-old were released on suspicion of attempted robbery, the 15-year-old on suspicion of severe coercion.
