A confused screaming woman in the stairwell was arrested by the police in Vienna-Favoriten around 10 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The 48-year-old had a pink kitchen knife with him. When the officers wanted to take her away, she pulled him out.
Because the Austrian raged in a stairwell in Favoriten, officers from the Zohmangasse police station were warned. When the officers met the woman in the home, she – holding a pink kitchen knife – said only confused and incoherent things.
Threatened police officers with pink kitchen knives
After police officers from the Viennese standby unit arrived to provide support, the woman, knife in hand, menacingly approached the police officers. Emergency services had to use a “Taser” to overpower the woman.
Because of the apparent mental illness, she was then taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
