Wild scenes reportedly took place at a bar in Kundl in the Tyrolean district of Kufstein around 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The reason was a guest who had looked too deep into the glass. When the landlord tried to stop him from getting into the car, he was beaten. The “Tiroler Krone” spoke to the restaurateur.
“I said to him: it’s better if you stop driving and give me the car key,” says Sascha Willim. The guest also did an alcohol test at the vending machine that is present in the restaurant.
choke attack and punch
“He had way too much alcohol in his blood, so I took the key from him. Then he panicked. He grabbed my neck and strangled me. When I told him to leave, he punched me in the face. Then he drove off in the car.”
Attack report
Willim subsequently reported to the police for assault. She was able to locate the fugitive quickly. The suspect did not have a driver’s license. It now runs several ads for the rabid drunk.
It was the first incident of this nature for the landlord. “No such thing has happened so far,” he concludes.
