The largest corona vaccination line in Austria is closing: The facility at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), operated by the Samaritan Association on behalf of the city of Vienna, will stop working at the end of March.
“In the past two years, we have administered approximately 2.2 million Covid vaccinations in the ACV vaccine line alone,” summarizes Susanne Drapalik, president and state physician of the Samaritan Society of Vienna.
300 employees on site every day
On average, about 300 employees of the Viennese Samaritan Society work in two shifts on Impfstrasse every day. On some days demand was so great that staff had to be increased.
