A serious traffic accident took place between Alberschwende and Dornbirn (Vorarlberg) on Wednesday. A 68-year-old woman was killed.
At 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, a 68-year-old woman drove her car along the forest road from Alberschwende towards Dornbirn. For unknown reasons, the driver left the road on the right at kilometer 3.5 and collided head-on with a tree at the side of the road.
Wasn’t in service
The woman was probably not wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene of the accident, despite resuscitation measures by first aiders and rescuers. Involved in the operation: Rescue and emergency doctor with two vehicles and a total of six people, the rescue helicopter “Gallus 2” with three people, the federal police with three vehicles and six people and forensic investigation and a drone coordinator from the state police headquarters.
