Desperate search for a 39-year-old hiker in Upper Austria. The man has been missing since Saturday on the 1,557 meter high garden tooth between Sankt Wolfgang and Bad Ischl (Upper Austria).
The local had already left on Saturday. After he failed to return, the man’s relatives launched a private investigation. But that was in vain.
First search aborted
On Sunday, the local mountain rescue service, the Alpine police and the volunteer fire brigade also searched for the man. In the evening, however, the search had to be called off unsuccessfully and the weather conditions were also very bad.
It continued on Monday. In addition to the fire brigade and mountain rescuers, a police helicopter and a drone are also in action.
