A 53-year-old drunk man drove his car through Lustenau (Vorarlberg) late on Sunday evening – until he lost control and collided with a traffic light.
A drunk 53-year-old motorist hit a traffic light near an intersection shortly before midnight on Sunday in Lustenau in Vorarlberg. The man, who had a blood alcohol content of one thousandth and traveled alone, was injured, the police said.
He was taken to Dornbirn Hospital. The car was badly damaged. An investigation into the exact cause of the accident was ongoing. The accident had occurred on the so-called “Lustenauer-Hof-Crossing” on Bahnhofstrasse.
