Ukrainian authorities denounced this Thursday new Russian attacks on Kiev which coincided with the trip of the Secretary-General of the United NationsAntonio Guterres, who visited the region before meeting Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky.
The adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anton Gerashchenko, reported via Telegram that: Three missiles launched by Russia at Kievbut what one of them had managed to be intercepted by air defense systems.
The attack has had duration of about two hours and one of the projectiles hit the first floor of a block of inhabited buildings, the Ukrinform agency says.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Anthony Guterresrecognized this Thursday Volodimir Zelenski, who the UN Security Council “did not do everything in its power” to prevent war in Ukraine.
During his visit, Guterres was able to witness firsthand the destruction in Bucha and Borodianka and has asked Russia to cooperate in clearing up possible war crimes committed in the area.
Prior to the visit to Kiev, the UN Secretary-General visited Moscow on Tuesday to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and, among other things, agree on the evacuation of civilians from the Azovstal metal metallurgical plant, in Mariupol. For example, Guterres has reported that he has also discussed this matter with Zelensky.
For his part, the Ukrainian president has said he is ready to start talks to evacuate civilians and has accused Russia of carrying out bombing campaigns in the area. In response to Zelensky’s words, the Kremlin spokesman emphasized that citizens can leave freely.
