A young driver was clearly too fast and under the influence of drugs on the Inntalautobahn in Vomp (Schwaz district) on Sunday evening. A civilian patrol flashed the speeder at 200 km/h.
The young man will probably not soon forget the Sunday evening. At around 2:45 a.m. he was flashed by a civilian patrol of the Tyrolean State Traffic Service on the A12 in Vomp towards Innsbruck. The measuring device spat out a speed of 200 km/h.
Shine off, drug test positive
When officers arrested the driver, it turned out that he was only in possession of a test driver’s license. To make matters worse, a drug test came back positive. His driver’s license and the car keys were temporarily taken away from him and he was of course not allowed to drive any further.
