Meeting of the Social Dialogue Table to approve the 2023 work plan

It was initially planned to include an initiative to conduct a test of the four-day working day, but ultimately it will not be, as Confebask has expressed its rejection of that possibility.

The Social Dialogue Table has scheduled an ordinary meeting today to proceed with the approval of the work plan that will be developed in the 2023 financial year.

The meeting of this forum, in which they participate Basque Government, Confebask and the trade unions CCOO and UGTnot so ELA and LAB who refuse to participate will be in Lakua from 09:30.

The meeting should approve the work plan of the social dialogue table for this 2023, where it was initially planned to include an initiative to establish a four day work day essaybut in the end it won’t be, ever since Confebask expressed his rejection this possibility, so that the Basque government will undertake to promote this project out of range.

However, Department of Labor and Employment sources have indicated that this project will be worked on outside of this forum with those agents willing to participate in its design.

At the end of the meeting it is expected that both the chairman of the table, Idoia Mendiasuch as the representatives of the social agents they deem appropriate.
