A young driver was killed in a tragic traffic accident in the Innviertel (Upper Austria) on Thursday evening. The 19-year-old crashed his car into a residential building with full force. Unfortunately, the injuries were so severe that the emergency doctor was unable to help him.
A 19-year-old from Taufkirchen an der Pram drove his car on Eisenbirner Straße (L515) in the municipality of Diersbach at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday in the direction of Kalling Straße (L515). In the village of Edenwiesen, for an unknown reason, he stepped onto the right shoulder and swerved his car to the left, crashing sideways into a residential building.
The impact was so powerful that the 19-year-old’s vehicle, as well as the building and a car parked in the garage, suffered serious damage.
Failed CPR
The 19-year-old driver was removed from the vehicle by rescuers and resuscitated until the arrival of emergency services. After that failed, the young man was pronounced dead by paramedics.
