The article “Krone” about the green student representatives who lured people into the voting booth with vibrators and CBD flowers during the ÖH election campaign caused quite a stir. Now a 62-year-old permanent student from Graz even filed a complaint!
The excitement at the end of the ÖH election, which ended on Thursday, was great when it became known that the student representatives of the GRAS faction (Greens and Alternative Students) were handing out vibrators and CBD in small bags to the student things, among other things. At the taxpayer’s expense, of course. The FPÖ sympathizer, self-proclaimed cannabis expert and former sex hotline operator Wolfgang Pöltl (62) from Graz has now filed an administrative criminal complaint against GRAS.
According to Pöltl, the CBD flowers distributed are subject to strict legal regulations and should therefore not have been distributed at all. He studies law at the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz and only started his studies at the age of 50. He is currently writing his graduation thesis on “Hypnosis in Austrian criminal law”.
“Having an open discourse on the legalization of cannabis”
The green student representatives responded to a request from “Krone”: “Our CBD is legal, of course, and we also think it’s important to have an open discourse about the decriminalization of cannabis.”
How or if the special election gifts affected the Green faction’s outcome remains unknown. There were technical problems during the elections. According to the ÖH, the outstanding results will probably not arrive until Monday.
