Entrance to the house – shooter went to his brother: using Cobra in Tyrol

A 25-year-old resident is said to have threatened several people in Jenbach (Schwaz district in Tyrol) on Friday evening and injured his brother. The police and Cobra had to intervene to get the situation under control.

Around 10:30 p.m., the police received the emergency call: the 25-year-old is said to have threatened several people in the Jenbacher apartment complex. He injured his brother, now he is still in the house – with a knife and a gun.

Several police patrols drove to the crime scene and secured the building. The Cobra special unit also moved in. About an hour after the police received the emergency number, the Cobra agents were finally able to arrest the suspect. They found a knife on the local man, but no gun.

Rescue treated wounded
Three people were injured by the 25-year-old’s panic attack. The ambulance had to take his brother to Schwaz hospital, and two other people were able to attend to the ambulance at the scene.
