Monday will start in the west and north of Austria with lots of thick clouds and rain. During the course of the day, the clouds will dissolve and into the evening a mix of dense clouds with some sun is possible in almost all parts of the country. However, the tendency for showers remains high overall and showers are to be expected again and again, especially over the mountains and hills. The maximum daytime temperatures on Monday are 14 to 21 degrees.
Dense clouds and showers expected
On Tuesday, an Italian low will determine the weather for the whole of Austria. Dense clouds will dominate in the morning and rain is expected in the west and south in the morning. Little by little, the precipitation eventually spreads to the whole of Austria and increases to the evening and night. During the day the temperature can rise to 12 to 18 degrees.
The influence of low pressure will also continue on Wednesday, so that the sky will be mostly cloudy, except for short breaks. Initially, regular rain is expected, which becomes weaker and rarer from the southeast during the afternoon. It also remains cool in the afternoon: maximum temperatures of up to 16 degrees are possible.
The sun comes out every now and then
Although there is still a lot of clouds on Thursday, a few rays of sunshine can be seen from time to time. In addition, there are some showers, especially along the main Alpine ridge and partly in the south. The most sunshine is in the extreme north and extreme west. Maximums are possible up to 18 degrees on Thursday.
On Friday 21 degrees is possible
The sun will shine at least temporarily in the western half on Friday. In the afternoon some cumulus clouds form. In the east there are significantly more clouds and only a little bit of sun in between. In the afternoon, some short rain showers are possible above the mountains. The minimum temperatures are two to twelve degrees, the daily maximum temperatures are 13 to 21 degrees.
