The start of this year’s “Beat the City” series in Linz was spectacular. Initially, 600 children gave their all at the Junior Linzathlon. They skilfully shot over ten obstacles over a distance of about 2 kilometers. The next day the adults showed their strength in the main competition: 1900 participants completed the obstacle course on the 10+ or 5+ km distance through the city center of the Upper Austrian provincial capital.
It continues with the obstacle course in Graz on June 17. Where ‘Beat the City’ was created ten years ago, a record number of participants is expected this year.
Important: “Beat the City” isn’t primarily about showing off your own athletic skills. It’s more about togetherness. Many companies already use this for team building etc.
