A dashcam captured missile debris falling in the middle of one of the Ukrainian capital’s busiest hubs.
The incident happened on May 29 during a daylight raid. The recordings show that two vehicles were only just missed. However, no injuries have been reported so far.
BBC News writes that the missile was thought to have been intercepted by anti-aircraft fire before reaching its intended target. This is indicated by the way the cruise missile landed.
The British news and television channel compared the dashcam material with images from a nearby security camera. Other sources on the net are speculating about a misfire. The police are currently investigating the case.
Russia is currently shelling the Ukrainian capital particularly hard. In May, more missiles, cruise missiles and drones were fired at Kiev in a month than ever in Russia’s offensive war that began more than 15 months ago.
