Sports & Action – What awaits you at “Beat the City”

Date:

Experience the charm of the Austrian cities in a different way with “Beat the City”! The obstacle courses in Graz and Innsbruck offer the perfect opportunity for this. The brilliant start at the Linzathlon on May 13 was the first “Beat the City” joke. Now the countdown has started for the most spectacular sightseeing tour of Graz and Innsbruck.

This time there are two distances per city to choose from: the 10 kilometer route with about 25 obstacles or the 5+ kilometer distance with at least ten obstacles. Along the most beautiful spots, both distances guarantee an unforgettable experience that is best shared with colleagues, friends or family.

“Beat the City” isn’t primarily about showing off your own athletic skills. On the contrary, the focus is on togetherness. This was proven by some 2,500 participants at the fantastic start of the foodora Linzathlon and helped each other to the finish. A nice side effect of this series of obstacle courses: You’re right in the middle of it! In the middle of the most beautiful cities you can crawl, climb and slide in the most prominent places. And that with thousands of enthusiastic spectators along the route, who cheer on the participants and experience the spectacle up close.

Classic obstacles such as the “Krone Burpee Boulevard” in Innsbruck in front of the tourist hotspot, the legendary Golden Roof or “Monkeyland” as the last obstacle before the finish line await. Strength, skill, speed and endurance are needed to eventually reach the finish line together. June 11 is the registration deadline for the GRAWE Grazathlon, June 25 is the registration deadline for Innsbruck.
