An unusual traffic accident in the Tyrolean municipality of Mötz led to a search for a black coach on Monday. A light contact between the bus and a trailer had painful consequences for the truck driver. The bus driver may not have noticed.
At around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, the lorry driver (35) was driving his truck with a trailer on Mötzer Landesstraße when the black coach approached him. The bus drove so far into the center of the lane that the wing mirrors of the two vehicles touched. This contact pushed the truck’s mirror inward and knocked out the mirror glass.
Shards were thrown through the open window of the truck
The shards were so unhappily flung through the open driver’s cab window that they hit the 35-year-old on the temple. The man sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to Zams Hospital. The bus driver drove on without stopping. The police are now hoping for witnesses to the accident and that the driver of the black bus will report to the Silz police inspection: 059133/7107.
