A man is said to have left the toilet of a bar in Vienna-Alsergrund completely beaten up in April. Now, about two months later, the Viennese police are publishing photos of an unknown person who allegedly fled the bar’s toilet shortly after the incident. He is suspected of assaulting the 20-year-old victim.
It was around 3 a.m. on April 2 when a 20-year-old man emerged injured from the toilet of a bar near the subway arches. According to the current state of the investigation, an unknown perpetrator would have entered the men’s room after the victim and left urgently a short time later.

The 20-year-old victim could not provide any further information about the incident. However, the man in the photos (see photo) is now suspected of having committed serious bodily harm, according to the Viennese police.
The Viennese police are requesting the publication of the photos on behalf of the Vienna public prosecutor’s office. Tips (also anonymous) are requested from the police inspection Boltzmanngasse, criminal investigation, under the telephone number 01-31310-99-22810.
