On Sunday evening in Vienna-Donaustadt there was a violent argument between a taxi driver and an aggressive passenger. After the arrest, the rioter (18) then attacked a police officer.
The taxi driver showed up at the Puchgasse police station in the middle of the night and complained about the rowdy passenger. When the officers went to the taxi driver, the 18-year-old passenger was standing next to him and, according to the police, behaved extremely aggressively towards the officers.
Two police officers were injured
Nevertheless, they managed to take the 18-year-old to the police station to question him about the incident. Once there, he suddenly attacked a policewoman and hit her on the chest. He had been arrested. However, he violently resisted arrest by beating him, injuring two other police officers.
18-year-old refuses to testify
The 18-year-old declined to comment further and was released. Fortunately, the injured police officers were able to continue their work.
