Just a few days after actor Florian Teichtmeister’s strange “Temple of Human Love” was reported, unknown individuals staged an “attack” on the building. Child puppets were hung from the pillars and the building was damaged with “blood-stained children’s hands”. According to the police spokesperson, it was red paint.
“We know what you did” – this message was left by unknown perpetrators at the premises of Teichtmeister, who is due to appear in court on September 5 for possession of child abuse images. The temple is located in Lower Austria in Langenlois (Krems-Land district).
The local police inspectorate, together with the National Investigation Department, is trying to track down the perpetrators. The “Temple of General Philanthropy in the Vineyard of the Wife and the Two Sons” is located near Teichmeister’s mother’s home. There are sayings like “Know thyself, master thyself and ennoble thyself” attached to it. Busts are also installed on the temple. As the “Krone” reported, an art historian suspects that it could be the philosopher Socrates and the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius.
At the beginning of this year it became known that the theater and film actor Teichtmeister was accused of possessing child pornography. Teichmeister pleads guilty. The trial was originally scheduled for February, but was postponed due to the defendant’s illness. The Burgtheater parted ways with Teichtmeister after the indictment became known, and the ORF refrained from broadcasting films featuring Teichtmeister.
