A video causes excitement in Graz. It shows a group of young men jumping on a moving tram in Graz-Reininghaus. The gang makes the neighborhood increasingly unsafe.
On Sunday morning, Alexis Pascuttini, a councilor with the Corruption Free Local Council Club, posted the video to Facebook. A resident had leaked the video to the politician after Pascuttini exchanged thoughts with residents around the tram stop.
It shows three men clinging to the back of a line 4 streetcar. They cling to the windshield wipers. One of the three soon falls off, the other two remain on the stern of the bim until the video ends.
Weeks of problems and police actions
This seems to be just one of many actions that have taken place there in recent weeks. “Youth gangs are causing massive unrest there (in Reininghaus, note) – damage to property, harassment, physical violence are the order of the day,” writes Pascuttini. This is also confirmed to the media by the police, where operations are regularly carried out there.
“It is shocking what the residents say and how little interest there is from those responsible for their problems,” Pascuttini criticizes the city council. He now wants to report the incident to the police and Holding Graz.
