Cinematic scenes took place on the German highway A96 near the Bavarian municipality of Erkheim on Saturday morning. Starring: the 28-year-old driver of an Austrian truck and a 66-year-old in a VW Caddy, as well as a baton and a middle finger.
Around 07:00, a 28-year-old drove an Austrian semi-trailer on the construction site near the Kohlberg tunnel towards Munich. A 66-year-old man then overtook the truck with his VW Caddy on the right, sat in front of the truck and reduced his speed. Feeling slowed by the car, the truck driver flashed his headlights and overtook the car on the right.
Truck driver feels provoked
During the overtaking maneuver, the truck driver noticed that the driver of the caddy gave him the middle finger. He then braked his semi-trailer truck to a halt on the highway, grabbed a telescopic pole from the driver’s cab and approached the car with it. After hitting the side mirror of the VW Caddy with his stick, he threatened the 66-year-old driver. However, there was no physical injury.
A hand knife is also included
The truck driver then climbed back into his cab and continued on his way to Munich. The 66-year-old and his wife, who was a year older than him, remained in the passenger seat behind the truck. A patrol from the Fürstenfeldbruck traffic police station was eventually able to stop both vehicles near Schöffelding. In addition to the telescopic pole, the officers also found a one-handed knife in the driver’s cabin of the trailer. The 28-year-old is now confronted with various advertisements, including under the gun law. The driver of the car has also been charged with insults.
