A 29-year-old Austrian fell on Saturday during a walk in the Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria and was fatally injured.
As the police announced, the woman was out early Saturday morning with an acquaintance on the Hochkalter mountain in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden. She slipped for unknown reasons and fell about 300 meters.
No evidence of third party guilt
She suffered serious injuries. When the rescuers arrived by helicopter, the 29-year-old was already dead. The companion was taken to the valley by helicopter and cared for there. There is currently no evidence of third-party debts, police said.
