A 49-year-old from Linz boarded the tram towards the university with his 36-year-old partner on the main square in Linz around 11.50 pm on Friday. There he saw two young people without masks, whereupon he spoke to them and took a picture of them.
Spit in the face
The two immediately reacted aggressively, spitting in the 49-year-old’s face. At the Wildbergstraße stop, a youngster then attacked the Linzer. He punched him several times with his fist and hit him as he lay on the ground. The two suspects then fled in an unknown direction. The injured person has been admitted to Kepler University Hospital.
