The 60-year-old from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district drove his motorcycle on the B72 towards Anger. According to his statements, an animal crossed the road shortly before 11 a.m., causing him to skid and then fall. A 40-year-old motorist driving in the same direction could confirm the fall, an animal did not notice her.
Life-threatening injuries
Another road user called the emergency call. The man suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident and was flown to the LKH Graz by the rescue helicopter Christophorus 12 after receiving emergency medical care. The Weiz Fire Department was deployed with eight troops and two vehicles.
