“Fresh air is healthy,” says the vernacular – and 84-year-old Kim Knor gets more than enough of that. The cheerful retiree has set himself the goal of making 1,000 parachute jumps. “I live for skydiving,” says the grandmother of seven from the US.
The American had completed her first skydive at the age of 20. But then the wedding followed and she had to make a sacred promise to her husband to give up her beloved hobby. She kept her word until her husband passed away in 1999.

‘My husband was dead, my children were grown and out of the house. It was a good time for me to jump again,” she told KCNC TV. She has since been addicted to jumping again and is pursuing her ambitious goal of making 1,000 parachute jumps by the end of her life. She has already Done 500. She also took her youngest grandson John to his very first jump.
