“Unexplained, But Real” – Still Mysterious: UFOs Landed In Commission

Date:

For the first time in more than 50 years, the US House of Representatives has held a hearing on unidentified flying objects (UFOS). Because the United States armed forces are still baffled by numerous sightings of “unidentified aerial phenomena” – UAP, the military term for the sightings.

Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Scott Bray, said there were a number of observations that had not been resolved. However, the UAP task force in his office has no evidence that the unidentified objects are of extraterrestrial origin. Andre Carson, chairman of the House Counterintelligence Subcommittee, said: “EAP is not indicated, that is true. But they are real. They need to be investigated.”

“We are open to all hypotheses”
MP Peter Welch commented: “Nobody knows if alien life exists. It’s a vast universe. And it would be quite presumptuous to come to an unequivocal conclusion.” Ronald Moultrie, the senior Pentagon official who emerged as a sci-fi fanatic during the hearing, said, “We are open to any hypotheses and conclusions we might come across.”

Reports of sightings continue, ONI Vice President Bray explains: “Since the early 2000s, we have observed an increasing number of unapproved and/or unidentified aircraft or objects.” The increase in reports is also due to factors such as improved sensors or attributed to newer flight systems such as drones. But it’s also a result of the military now demanding reports of sightings – such a thing was not taken seriously in the past. “The message is now clear: if you see something, report it,” Bray said.

400 unexplained celestial phenomena
In June last year, the US secret services presented a report on UAP. This showed that there were no explanations for about 140 celestial phenomena from the past two decades. Bray said since the report was published, the number of reported sightings has risen to about 400.

Bray showed two videos during the hearing. According to him, one of them showed a “spherical object” flying past the cockpit of a jet fighter. “I have no explanation for what this particular object is.” A second video showed a triangular floating object seen through night vision goggles. A few years later, similar sightings were made by the Navy. Bray described the objects as “unmanned aerial systems”.

No collisions so far
The Deputy Secret Service chief said there had been no clashes between US fighter jets and the unknown objects. “But we had at least 11 near-collisions.” There was no communication with the objects. Under no circumstances would US troops have opened fire on a UAP.

Only part of the hearing was public. Several questions from MPs to Bray and Moultrie would then be discussed behind closed doors.
