On September 11, a 41-year-old left her parents’ house in Lindau, Germany, on Lake Constance in her blue Passat. Since then, the woman, who was actually on her way to Fürth (Bavaria), has been missing. The search for her remained fruitless for a week – until last Monday.
The 41-year-old was on holiday at her parents’ home in Lindau. On Monday, September 11, the woman left the house around 9:30 am in her car, a blue VW Passat. However, she did not appear at her home address in Fürth as agreed. Due to her health condition, it could not be ruled out that the 41-year-old was in a helpless situation.
Attentive witness
After search attempts had been fruitless for a week, there was a sigh of relief yesterday, Monday. As the Bavarian police announced, an attentive witness discovered the missing person in Vorarlberg, more precisely in the Bregenzerwald, and informed the Lindau authorities. They in turn asked their Austrian colleagues for administrative help.
Administrative assistance from Vorarlberg
Officers from the Vorarlberg Police then checked the witness’ information and eventually met the missing person in the indicated area. Police said the 41-year-old was exhausted but otherwise fine.
