Former US President Donald Trump can’t help it – and made another verbal outburst on his own social media platform. But that was too much for one court; it earned him a muzzle with serious consequences if he did not comply with the requirement.
Judge Arthur Engoron issued an order on Tuesday for all participants in the trial to refrain from personal attacks on court staff, US media reported. Trump had previously accused an Engoron employee of bias in a post on the Truth Social platform he co-founded.

The message was later deleted. “Personal attacks on my court staff are unacceptable and inappropriate, and I will not tolerate them under any circumstances,” Engoron said, according to The New York Times. If the rules were broken, the judge threatened serious consequences.
Trump has repeatedly launched serious verbal attacks against judge and Attorney General Letitia James during the trial, which could destroy his New York business empire.
