The boy’s parents got into an argument that evening. Around 11:15 p.m., the child’s 26-year-old mother and 29-year-old stepfather moved the loud argument to the stairs of the residential building on Yppenplatz. In the meantime, the boy must have climbed onto a bench in the apartment and then fallen out of the window.
According to Vienna’s professional rescue service, the boy suffered serious head injuries and numerous bruises. The child was admitted to the hospital’s shock room with polytrauma. It is in mortal danger.
