The e-biker from Mexico was involved in two collisions with his bicycle today, Thursday. First he hit a girl (7), then a cyclist (18) from Rosenheim.
A 31-year-old Mexican rode his e-bike in Salzburg-Maxglan on Thursday morning. A seven-year-old girl walked onto the sidewalk and bicycle path near her home and was overlooked by the e-biker. In the collision, the girl suffered a superficial injury to her head and was taken to the University Hospital of Salzburg.
A short time later an accident occurred in the old town of Salzburg. The man collided with an 18-year-old cyclist from the Rosenheim district (Germany). As a result, she suffered an abrasion and was taken to the university hospital. Both alcohol tests were negative.
A nurse who provided first aid to the girl in the first accident had left the scene before police arrived. Because she may have witnessed the accident, she is asked to report to the nearest police station in Salzburg or by telephone on 059133-55-4040.
