A hunter made a shocking discovery on Saturday in his hunting area in Schattwald in Tyrol’s Ausserfern. The days before, unknown perpetrators skillfully cut off the heads of dead deer and took the heads and antlers. The carcasses were left behind. The police are looking for witnesses.
Unknowns in Schattwald, about 20 meters above the dike on Tannheimer Straße, caused a lot of dissatisfaction. Between October 4 and 14, they probably decapitated two deer that died in a territorial or rut fight. The heads were professionally cut off and the antlers were removed.
The rotting carcasses were left behind. The hunting tenant suffered damages for a currently unknown amount.
Useful information can be sent to the Grän police station on 059133/7153.
