You almost fall off your stool, er stool! On Monday evening, a power outage caused an extremely strange event. Around 2:50 am, a total of eight camels left the fenced area of a circus site. On the Halleiner Landstrasse the animals headed towards Halleiner Bahnhof.
Owners stopped them
But the camels didn’t get far. With the help of arriving police, the owners stopped the “desert ships,” as the humped animals are also called, and brought them back to the circus.
There was no damage to property or persons.
