Another threat – Iran: Israel has crossed the red lines

Date:

According to the Iranian president, Israel has crossed the red line with its attacks on Gaza. “The Zionist entity’s crimes, both humanitarian and military, have crossed red lines that could force anyone to take action,” Ebrahim Raisi told Arab broadcaster Al-Jazeera in an interview published on Saturday evening.

In recent weeks after the major Hamas attack, Iran’s political and military leadership had threatened its traditional archenemies, the US and Israel. Religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised the Hamas attack but rejected direct involvement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed suspicion that Iran was involved in planning the brutal terrorist attack by the Islamist Hamas on October 7. Netanyahu said Saturday evening that he assumes Iran finances 90 percent of Hamas’ military budget. Without Iran, the Palestinian organization would not exist, the Israeli government leader emphasized. The same goes for the Hezbollah militia.

Iran created an ‘Axis of Resistance’ against Israel
Since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, Israel has been Iran’s declared arch enemy. Tehran has expanded its ties in the region since the 1990s to create an “axis of resistance” against Israel with the support of Shiite militias. The Shiite Hezbollah militia in Lebanon north of Israel, where deadly clashes have occurred recently, is one of its main allies.
