Finnish media report that Marin, who at the age of 34 became the youngest prime minister in Finland’s history, is working on a work titled “It’s Our Turn: Fearless Leadership for a New Generation.”
It is said that an American agency is currently negotiating international book rights for the former politician.
dismissal and divorce
Marin has radically changed her life in recent months. In April she resigned from the Finnish government and in May she announced her divorce from her husband Markus Raikkönen, whom she had married just three years earlier.
In September she started working at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in London. It is a non-profit organization headquartered in London that advises governments around the world.
Youngest head of government in the world
Social Democrat Marin was elected Prime Minister of Finland in 2019.
At the age of 34, she was for a time the youngest head of government in the world and enjoyed great popularity at home and abroad. She and her Social Democrats lost the Finnish parliamentary elections in April, despite making gains.
