Bad timing by the judiciary causes surprise: five days before a second trial for serious fraud involving Lego bricks, a young Carinthian man was released early from his first prison sentence. He has since disappeared.
Instead of three years (!), the 26-year-old only had to serve half of the prison sentence, but the former basketball star didn’t really see it as an opportunity for a new life without criminal activities.
“He is a fugitive,” said Christian Liebhauser-Karl, spokesperson for the Klagenfurt court, confirming that the arrest warrant and police operations have so far been unsuccessful.
Shown to girlfriend Paris despite conviction
Former victims of the Lego scam are already seeing him abroad. The young up-and-coming criminal has caused problems in the past with posts on social media from various trips. His creditors waited in vain for money, some children waited in vain for a long-awaited Lego package – he, on the other hand, bought a few Rolex watches and later even showed a friend Paris, among other places, despite being convicted.
