In Austria, 1753 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from Monday 9.30 am). Two other people infected with the virus died. In the normal wards of hospitals, the occupancy rate fell by 52 places, the number of patients in intensive care increased by seven (52 patients in total).
So far there are 4,235,183 positive test results in Austria. As of today (May 23, 9.30am), 18,599 people across Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 4,173,311 have recovered. At the moment there are 582 people in hospital because of the corona virus. Of these, 52 are in intensive care.
