Traumatic experience for a woman from Styria, Romania: the young woman was visiting her father’s villa when she witnessed him being tortured to death by masked men. Two of the murderers have now been arrested.
Having just traveled from Upper Styria to visit Romania, the 23-year-old was recently woken up in the middle of the night by noise in her father’s villa in Sibiu. The young woman left her room on the first floor and saw three masked men on the ground floor assaulting her father Adrian K..
Hidden in the closet
She fled back in panic, locked the door, armed herself with a pocket knife and hid in the closet. But the attackers noticed her, followed her and then used force to gain entry. One of the perpetrators beat her, held a gun to her temple and demanded that she reveal her wealthy father’s money stash.
Daughter (23) suffered serious trauma
Meanwhile, the entrepreneur, who once emigrated to Austria and returned to Romania a few years ago, was further brutally tortured while tied up in the living room.
“Now we’re going to kill your father.”
But the daughter, who lives with her mother in Styria, was unable to answer the attackers and instead handed them 40 euros in cash from her wallet. “Now we will kill your father” – with these words the perpetrator said goodbye to the 23-year-old and fled with his accomplices. In the luggage: dozens of luxury watches.
The ordeal in the villa lasted 45 minutes – the Styrian woman’s father did not survive. Despite attempts at resuscitation by the emergency services alerted by his daughter, Adrian K. succumbed to his torture wounds. The 23-year-old suffered serious trauma.
Two of the killers were caught while trying to escape
Meanwhile, two suspects (both Romanians) entered the search network. One in Scotland, the other in Northern Ireland. While the suspected mastermind Cosmin Costinel Z. is on the run.
It is still unclear whether it was a robbery or perhaps an act of revenge.
