On Tuesday morning, a traffic accident took place in Weistrach in the Amstetten district of Lower Austria, in which seven people were injured – including five children.
Around 6:45 a.m., a school bus collided with a car at an intersection in Weistrach. Five students and both drivers were injured in the traffic accident. They were all taken to nearby hospitals.
According to police, the 63-year-old school transport driver must have turned around and overlooked the car in which a 25-year-old woman was driving.
Anger at impatient drivers
The impatience of some drivers caused great annoyance to operations manager Gregor Payleitner of the FF Weistrach: “We call for patience and understanding that safety has absolute priority – and this also includes closing the road for a certain period in the event of such accidents. .”
