The snow and wintry driving conditions proved fatal for one or two drivers on Tuesday evening. A van skidded in Mühlbach am Hochkönig in Salzburg and three vehicles collided in Seekirchen.
Around 7 p.m. the fire brigade of Mühlbach am Hochkönig (Pongau) was alerted that a vehicle had been recovered. A small van skidded due to winter driving conditions. According to the fire department, the driver lost control of his vehicle.
The driver was uninjured and the vehicle was able to escape through the snow without damage. Twelve Floriani were in action with two vehicles.
Three vehicles collided together
Three cars were hit on Mattseer Landesstraße in Seekirchen (Flachgau). At 6:16 p.m., the Floriani were warned of a traffic accident. Three vehicles collided on a snowy road. The fire brigade’s efforts were limited to securing the accident site and regulating traffic.
