There were probably thousands of guardian angels on board: In the Tyrolean lowlands, a tree weighing several tons fell directly onto a snow plow in the early morning hours on Saturday. The driver probably escaped with a jolt.
The near tragedy occurred on Saturday morning in the municipality of Brandenberg in the Kufstein district. In the Aschau district, a tree apparently could no longer withstand the enormous snow load.
Discovered by the fire brigade during an inspection trip
The tree eventually fell and hit the snow plow cab with full force. The local fire brigade had already been deployed – also because of fallen trees.
During a check drive, the Florianis eventually came across the driver on the connection between Kramsach and Aschau – and the completely demolished snow plow.
Huge blessing in disguise for Lenker
Miraculously, the driver was apparently unharmed. The fire brigade then recovered the vehicle and cleared the road again.
