A serious accident occurred in Lower Austria on Thursday afternoon. Two people were killed and a woman is seriously injured in hospital.
The tragic accident took place around 4:30 p.m. on the southern motorway (A2) towards Graz between Leobersdorf (Baden district) and Wöllersdorf (Wiener Neustadt district).
A2 temporarily closed
According to the first information, a car overturned, ORF NÖ reported. According to the Leobersdorf fire brigade, the seriously injured person was the passenger. She was flown to a hospital by emergency medical helicopter.
All help came too late
According to FF Leobersdorf, all help for the other two prisoners came too late. The A2 was temporarily closed. There was a kilometer long traffic jam.
